Default New CA GX Raw

Just received my new (almost) Composite Acoustics GX Raw. It is almost new because Vester beat me to this one off....the GX for now is not scheduled for production in the raw finish. Just got my first few hours of play and really enjoying it and think it will makes a fine companion to my OX gloss.

Congrats - you sound excited! As you should be.

What's the basic shape of the GX Raw? And Raw just means raw finish?

Basically think Taylor GA for basic size and shape with a sharper cutaway.....the RAW finish is a plain finished carbon treatment. This finish is used on other guitars in their line but for now a one off in the current lineup. Got a couple more hours today on it and really enjoying.

The standard 1 3/4 nut on this one. Very comfortable even with smaller hands.

Thanks Ted......it is definitely a keeper. Still mulling over shipping out the Breedlove or keeping and just doing Shorty on its own.

Nice guitar. Back when I bought my GX the only finish choices were gloss and RT, but I really hated how noisy the RT finish was. But I would definitely have gone for a RAW finish if it had been available.

I had a RAW OX to go along with my Gloss one and mistakenly sold it off....GAS had got the better of me. This helps rectify that a bit.....
