My 2013 SC245. She's been good to me, but considering selling to fund a Custom Shop Martin. Just don't know if I can though...

I found this pic of my first PRS - Artist Package Singlecut Trem with some really nice flames. Sold it a few years back only because I had accumulated close to a dozen guitars and played very little. A real player (as opposed to a wanna be player like me ) in Arizona made me an offer I couldn't refuse. It broke my heart but I had to let a few go.

I love the color on that guitar. It goes awesome with the flame!

Default PRS

Played a few. Bought a new DGT a few years back and I sold it soon after. Never really did anything for me. I traded into a well used HB ll and it just sings. It's become my number one electric. It has some wear on it so I don't feel over protective of it. It's my favorite humbucker guitar I've ever owned or played.

PRS hoarder...

Actually, I'm going to sell one of these...unless I win the Lotto or something, then I buy more and hang them on the walls like the art they are.

They look great, Max. What's the amp on top of the Avatar?

Man oh man what a hard decision to make

For me because a I tend towards understated elegance
I would probably opt to keep the amber one
AND ( I could full feathers here) I think you might be able to command a higher asking price for the green burst on the assumption it is a little more rare.

PRS make some gorgeous guitars. I was just having a chat about them this evening, so I’m excited to see this thread pop back up.

I purchased a 2002 McCarty double cut gold top with Soap Bar pickups for $1500 a few months ago. I saw one yesterday on Reverb for $2750. I guess I bought at the right time.

Are the Soap Bar pickups the same as P-90s?

I believe so. I am shopping for some replacements with a bit more grind. The Duncan’s are a bit too sweet and clean.

I've got Gibson P-90s in two of my guitars (Gibson Les Paul Tribute and SG Tribute) and they really rock. Guessing that Gibson P-90s would be overly priced though, like all of their pickups they sell.
