00 Tenor guitar rescued
I found this old gal on craigslist and had to have her. Jake at Antebellum Instruments has her all fixed up. I'm jonesing to go pick it up, but he's waiting on tuners for my mandolinetto and it's a 2 hour round trip...
Sounds a LOT louder (and better) than my 1935 Valencia (Harmony) archtop that I got from him, though I still love that one. http://antebelluminstruments.blogspo...a-00-size.html |

Sweet little guitar, but how's the low-end response with those heavier strings - I'm thinking it might be kinda thin with that small body...

Thanks guys.
@ Steve, I'm not sure about the bass response because I haven't picked it up yet. I listened to the sound clip through my car stereo and I thought the low end sounded pretty good for a tenor guitar. |
