Default Cedar/Wenge GP for the Woodstock Invitational

I was set-up to take some shots of a guitar I will be sending out next week, so I decided to grab this little Grand Parlor (GP) off the bench and take a few shots. I built this little guy specifically for the Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase 2014 held on Oct 24-26

It has a cedar top with a bit of a bearclaw figure. The back and sides are Wenge. Snakewood bindings. Hope to string it up next week. In the meantime here are a few shots.

Very cool theme John. I like how the bear left his tracks on the FB and claw marks on top!

Very pretty. I've played a Brondel with wenge back and sides that was gorgeous sounding.

Yes I kind of was going for that theme but I really think those more wolf tracks. Oh well, regardless the guitar is named the Bearsville

I will try to get some back shots, but I may wait until the strings go on it. (I know you can't really see the strings from the back.
