Have seen that one before. I don't do tribute acts at all, but I did see that line-up of the ADS in 1991 and they really nailed the sound of Jim and the guys. It's a while back, but I don't remember them doing Stairway.

It comes from an Aussie TV series from 1989/90 called 'The Money or The Gun' where guest artists appeared on the show each week all doing their own versions of the one song 'Stairway to Heaven'.

There are 22 different versions on the CD.

I've been listening to a lot of Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators and also Guns 'N Roses. Mostly live concerts. G'nR is only the Appetite and live Illusions tour (not the new Chinese Democracy or the recent concerts).

Slash has an amazing Les Paul through a Marshall rock tone.
