It's your use of flash application that's crashing the users browsers. You might want to use just good old html/php. Flash is pretty browser intensive.

I created a whole new (however brief) flash gallery today and I am in hopes this solved the problem. Thanks to all who have checked this for me.

Doesn't work. Small advise from a web developer, interactive designer...flash is utterly unnecessary for show and tell. It might look pretty, but you are definitely losing wider audience with bloated (adobe) applications. Majority of your audience on the web do not have fast internet connection to handle the throughput hog. Like I said, a simple, aesthetically pleasing gallery would suffice. Rather than using the latest technology to attract people, it's better to think how people would interact with your site, then design your site.

Ken,

I use flash for galleries quite often - and that shouldn't be your problem.

Check out these two options:

1) SlideShow Pro http://www.slideshowpro.net

2) SimpleViewer http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/

Your "models and pictures" page didn't crash Firefox on my Mac, but I only got 2 full guitar pics and 1 squashed and part of a neck.

OK I think I found the problem (s) with the gallery page. The menu bar at the side is also a flash file, so it appears that some browsers got confused when the second flash was added. I have also found out why (I hope) the pictures were being scrambled.
Anyone care to try it again and see if it is working right now?

Here is the link to the gallery

Thanks in advance!
