Default New Freeborn Model For Healdsburg

Brand spankin' new model will make it's debut at this years HGF.
The Quatre Petit:

Based on my Quatre model (0000) I sleeve the mold to "shrink" the body to a 15" lower bout. 13 frets clear, and my new "tweener" scale length of 25.2".
This prototype is all Maple, with a Lutz top, Massaranduba fingerboard and bridge and our Pearl Beauguard.
See you all next week.

Cool stuff, Charles! You moved away from your half 'n half peghead?
(Or is that head model-specific?)
And what are the bindings on this guitar?
Sorry for all the questions,

Steve

Hi Steve,
This one is a prototype, so to keep it as time efficient as possible I built it with a regular headstock rather than my hybrid design. I'm considering making the hybrid style an option on the symmetrical bodied guitars as a cost control measure.
Binding is our Pearl Beauguard which my wife Cheryl makes. It's backed up with cream/black Leathertone plastic laminate (PVC I think) with the cream face towards the binding and the black against the body, which gives it a nice little black pinstrip.
See you next weekend!

Ah, I was in the dark as to "Pearl Beaugard". Can't wait to see it.
Next weekend...

Steve
