I chose to show it - a real nice book match with interesting figuring and great contrasting color. Kevin says that both rosewood and the spruce tap well. This will be Omega #3 for me, each with a different top wood. When he starts I will probably do a thread as pictures come my way. By the way, while visiting Kevin I saw CPA...'s guitar in process along with one being done for Ericcsong.
That's what I like to hear....

The Omega Dread is got some incredibly special attributes....strong contender for build of the year....
Here is the wood (though the overlay is wrong and indicates it is a jumbo)

And here will be the other strong contender...the Olson matching dread... Here is the wood for that one.

Strong contenders!

I'm very happy finally with my acoustics (after nearly 20 years of searching). So my attention has been focused on my electrics.

Here is what is queue:

A DeTemple '52 and a '56 Twin set - here are the latest pix:

Hahn 228, 1229 and 229.

All should be home within the next 60 days or so (I hope).

Marc Beneteau is building his interpretation of the "Nick Lucas Special", the rounded L-1 shape with deep body from 1928, for me late this year.
