Default Aggravation in Rx 7 Elements

I'm having mouse pointer problems in Rx 7 Elements by Izotope.

1. I can't turn the editing tool pointer back to a normal mouse pointer.

2. I can't get the location indicator to stop getting in my way when I click an editing tool pointer onto the wav file. It keeps jumping to that location. I found that I have to select an area away from where I'm working, then hold the shift key and select where I want to edit, but this doesn't always work.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "editing pointer". In RX you won't see the normal mouse pointer unless you're at the top of the window where the "universe" views is (showing your position in the file).

I have Advanced, not Elements, but I believe the only difference is in the modules available not in the interface itself.

If you have a file loaded you should be able to toggle between the cursor modes with the keyboard.

T = "time" selector (default when RX loads).
R = time/frequency selector
F = frequency selector
L = lasso
B = brush tool
W = magic wand tool
Z = zoom tool
G = grab/drag tool

The vertical yellow line is always present and, yes, can get in the way sometimes.

I'm not sure if that helps or not.
