Don Henley.
I'm a big fan of his "Cass County" solo album, and his voice has never sounded better than it does on that record. It was recorded in 2015. It is perfect for the kind of stuff I like to sing.

If I lost my voice, I don't know whose voice I would like. Kenny Rankin had a really nice voice; Paul McCartney always sounded great. Paul Rodgers had a great voice. Gordon Lightfoot had a wonderful voice when he was young, before his voice took on all that vibrato. Noel Paul Stookey had a great voice. - Glenn

I think I'd present an odd vision, but for me, Billie Holiday. Billie touches my soul like no other singer.

Hard to argue with Frank Sinatra. But I'm not a crooner-type. If I was a rocker, I'd say Robert Plant, although I love his work with Alison Krauss.
I'm going with Kenny Loggins. |

My favorite singers aren't really good singers - John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Neil Young, Robert Earl Keen, Billy Joe Shaver, Steve Earle, Guy Clark, Tom Petty....
If I had a genie encounter I'd prefer to be able to write songs like those guys.

You've lost your voice, and the Genie is sympathetic. He has given you use of Tiny Tim's voice until you choose another

Really surprised nobody has mentioned John Denver yet - the note he held and 2:30 here came to mind.

Matt Bellamy. Easy for me, I've always wanted to sound like him.
