I've never heard of Logan so I just checked out his website. Looks like some very nice guitars at prices that are half of what the new Fender Elite series costs. There are some great reviews out there.

I'll be looking forward to see responses to your question, Daveyo.

Had Bob build me a Logan Tele esquire a few years back. Great guitar, great guy to deal with. I ended up trading it for a rosewood Tele about a year later, the old one in one out rule. Actually wish I still had the Logan also.

Hi Rick, what made you trade the Logan instead of another guitar you had (assuming you had one). Was that the guitar that the other player wanted?

Check out TDPRI.com (telecaster forum) and do a search. Logan guitars are well thought of there, although it's mostly one primary instigator who has something like 5 or 6 of his guitars and then several others who, based on his recommendation, ordered Logans. I don't recall anyone who wasn't well pleased with them. I'm not sure how custom he goes, though, like in terms of neck profile, radius, etc, but I think he'll do about what you want in terms of pickup configuration and finish and stuff...

Worth checking out for sure...

My Logan was the one I happen to have with me at the time and had to make a quick decision. I have kind of regretted since, the esquire was a really nice sounding and playing guitar.

Default Bob Logan

I did not hear about Bob until after I had two Fender American Standards. If I didn't I would have one. Heard from numerous people online of what a great guy Bob is. There was even a guy on "The Gear Page" that left his Logan Tele is his car in extreme excessive heat and the nitro blistered. Bob offered to fix it for free! Tells you what kind of guy he his. He is not far from me and actually thought about taking a trip to meet him sometime. They are not fancy customs! They are player guitars with good quality parts and good workmanship! He will make you whatever you want.

Joe loves his! I commented on it once and he said he loves it!
You can see my comment about the Logan on the first video about a month ago.

Default Logan tele update

Got the Logan
I'm pretty much an acoustic guitar guy but
I appreciate a nice quality instrument and this is it.
On of the best teles I have ever played.
Very resonant,players guitar
Very happy camper!
Totally recommend the Logan brand
You get so much for your money compared to a fender.
Highly recommended
Dave

Congrats Dave, and thanks for putting this out there. These look like great player grade guitars and since i don't care about the name on the headstock, this may be the direction I go when it's time to upgrade.

Merry Christmas and enjoy your new Tele!
