Mad World by Tears for Fears/Gary Jules is such a classic and I've fallen in love with my effects so I had another go at my eletric

One thing I just noticed while listening to it on YT, is that the sound is way less than the actual file on my computer. I heard that YT compresses the sound etc, but not THIS much. Is there a way to work around this, or?

With my acoustic it's not extreme as this (the sound is still okay tho )
