That's so cool that Dustin will be there!

I've been enjoying listening to his music for a couple of months now after seeing some of his video demos. So much so that we've lined him up to do a house concert out here in California in May 2020. Great chops, great vocals, great guy, and a fellow AGFer--what more could you ask for!

Seeing him at B.I.G. in March will be an awesome preview for us...

Unfortunately it won't be in the next two years!!
2020 is the year for the wife to upgrade her Yoga Instructor learning, while 2021 is looking to be my year to go build another guitar.
Maybe 2022 will be the one for us to finally make an international trip that doesn't involve work!!
Really Yoga vs. guitars??? Are you a true AGFer or not? Bring her along and Kathy will let her borrow her yoga mat and she can do a class here and you guys can write the whole trip off as an expense! Who knows if there will be a Son Of B.I.G. 2021????

I really hope you can come, you need to get out more among fellow acoustic lovers!

Hey that is great, we have great taste I guess! Frog and Toad are doing a house concert also right before B.I.G. at one of last year's attendees homes. I guess he liked what he saw and heard also. Boy B.I.G. might start to be the breakout event for future stars.

When you are hear, ask me the story of who I almost had booked this year also! I was so close.

If you have not heard Dustin play (AND sing), just go to our Show and Tell section where he posts about once a week. He is both an exceptional player, but also has a great voice.

We will make sure that Dustin has a spot in the schedule to share his abilities with us first hand at B.I.G. (er) 2020. One example from Dustin: https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=560477

Shoot me a PM if interested. Planning is coming right along and things are coming together very well.

Thanks, Tom

This sounds like an exceptional time!

It is a blast, guitar and nice people overload!

Still have plenty of room for more!

Gerry Humphreys is also bring some of his handmade acoustic amps to buy or order, simply the best acoustic sound reproduction I have ever heard and beautiful as well.

Performers: Will McNicol, Frog and Toad, Justin Furlow (I think this is amazing)

Workshops: DADGAD and Fingerstyle techniques both with Will
Song writing with Frog and Toad who will be on lilly pads

Limited Private lessons with Will McNicol

Food, distillery, BBQ, Brunch, Bloody Mary bar, Mimosas, soft drinks, adult drinks, water and cakes!

Guitars!!!!!

(and Dash, our greeter and unpaid security) (there is also paid security on premises so your guitars are safe).

Can't wait for this...thank you very much for the generous invite and shoutout in previous posts, Tom. Just looking at photos of last year's BIG and then my AirBnB's photos of the lake during springtime makes me think this will be one of the most memorable trips.....ever!! Can't wait to hang and make music.

I would love to come but will have to check my schedule.
The airport traffic will not be an issue but will have to check out the best route from Wyoming , three to four weeks of hard riding should get it done

Thanks Dustin, you coming to the event will only add to the weekend!
So happy you can come and perform.

Dash misses you as well Brad. And I agree, lots of guitars and music, but also many other little things to make it fun including the BBQ and local whiskey tasting. I have heard a rumor that this year may include some real Scottish beverage brought by Will! I might share and then might not!

Hope you can come Kev. I have not advertised this, but we do provide stable and tie stalls for anyone coming on horseback, no extra charge involved. It is Texas after all.

Understandable

I was not aware there was a local whiskey tasting or BBQ until now...
