My Last Real Show

I get to open for Catfish Keith this week. So, it's an actual show type of thing. It's a venue where people actually pay attention. It's the type of place that road worn performers both love to play and are intimidated by the attention. It's a fair guess that this will be the last time for this type of thing. And I'm okay with that. I'll still be doing things but not at this level. I've heard that they may be trying out their live streaming for its initial run so who knows I may have to suffer that also. Wish me luck. I need it. My nerve isn't what it used to be.

Just show up as fully as you can, and do what you know how to do. It and you will be great! And you might find yourself enjoying it….

That’s for sure!
We played a bar gig Saturday night …we were totally relaxed. Only a handful of people were ever really listening. I thought we were outstanding, but who knows…could hardly hear ourselves over the din.

I've got one of those gigs coming up Friday - I can usually hook in a couple of tables and get them interacting. It's fun.
