Default Uh oh, I’ve done it again

I went to my luthier Christopher Dean today asking him to adjust the action on my guitars.

While there, he let me play his latest model awaiting collection.

The inevitable result - I’ve ordered a new Hauser style classical guitar in Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood due in Sep 2024.

This wait should just be long enough to let my wife know about the arrival of guitar number 4.

Hi Phill!

Well, that should be a wonderful guitar! Congratulations! It's going to be a little difficult waiting for that, but how exciting!

You're not the real deal until you've battled your spouse over guitar #8,

My wife is the biggest enabler out there. In the decades we have been married she has never had a problem with me buying any guitar. Then again, she used to play the coffee houses as part of a duo and still plays occasionally with two worship bands. In fact, the last new guitar which came into the house was a Martin D12-28 which she bought about five years back.
