Default 2017 Martin 000-30 Authentic 1919

Original owner of a fine 000-30 Authentic. Guitar is in mint condition with no scratches, blemishes or dings. It has been professionally set up with medium-low action. Tone is incredible and projection is surprisingly loud for a small-bodied instrument. The guitar weighs 3.7 lbs and feels light as a feather in the hand, remarkable for Madagascar rosewood back and sides. Adirondack spruce top means lots of headroom and sparkling trebles. Original case.

Martin commissioned Waverly to create special tuners for this guitar and StewMac carries a relic nickel version of these that I had installed—it’s a direct swap so no holes were drilled. I have the originals if the buyer prefers the bright nickel but I think these relic nickel look incredible and much more “authentic” for a guitar that aims to recreate a 1919 instrument.

There were 116 of these guitars built between 2017 and 2018, so there are relatively few of them around. Here’s your chance to grab a great example! Happy to answer any questions or provide more photos on request.

The original factory specification is .11 to .52. I'd be interested about heavier gauges...don't know that one.
