Default Early Romantic Stauffer style guitar

Thought I’d share my recent Stauffer build. It has a Spruce top, Australian QLD Maple back and sides, Mahogany neck, Ebony fretboard and bridge, Ebony bridge decoration and Brazikian Rosewood Headstock veneer. It also has the adjustable neck mechanism. The tunes are Rubner. Now, I just need to find someone local that can play it!

That looks stunning!

You might have more chance finding someone to play it if you post this on the classical Delcamp forum.

Or just learn to yourself ... it's still a guitar

Very cool looking guitar. Similar to the very earliest of Martins.
I'm curious about the adjustable neck mechanism. Do you mean something to adjust relief, like a truss rod? Curious also about the width at the nut and saddle as compared to traditional classicals.
Yes, definitely post a sound sample if you find someone to play it!

I agree with that!

The Stauffer style neck adjustment will change the neck angle relative to the body.

martint, if you can't find someone local to play it, feel free to ship it to me in the US. I'll be happy to play this lovely guitar!

Exquisite looking guitar. Super-sweet detailing, not to mention the beautiful woods you had selected for the build. The old masters would love to have gotten their paws on such a performance work of art.

OK, thanks! That must be what the key is for, which I just noticed.
Yes, I'm very curious too how it sounds and plays. Wonder what body depth it has. It looks small.
