Default Soundhole Pickup Advice Needed

Here's an age old questions pondered by many great minds...ha

What are your general suggestions for setting the height of the pole pieces on a baggs M1A? I know much of this is driven by personal preference and playing style.

The high B is removed, the high E is slightly recessed, and the others can be seen. In general do you raise these much closer to the strings than I have?

Noledog has shared his method of starting with B string and balancing the other strings output in relation. Then use your ear for your preference. Works for me

Search his thread BAGGS M80 & ALIGN DEMO in this Acoustic Amplication section. There is a very helpful video there.
