Default Luthiers in NNJ, Mid-Hudson Region?

Ok friends, up until a year ago I was in NYC three times a week so I've always used Rudy's repair shop. Now I need a luthier up here (NNJ, Rockland, Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, Dutchess). Anyone have a great (I'd settle for very good) luthier for setups and repairs?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for that. I know about him (never used him), but he's more than two hours North of me, I'm trying to avoid the trip(s).

An update for those in the area, I used (upon recommendation) Imperial Guitar in New Paltz, NY. The setup work was good.

Rule 18,
Try Rudy's in Scarsdale. They are only 1/2 hour from Rockland.

I'm not sure how far into Orange County you are but it might be worth making the trek into the city to Rudy's. It seems like finding a good tech or luthier can be very difficult and people tend to get very nervous about taking their guitars to someone new.

Thanks. Rudy's was my go-to for many years when I was in the city (10 yrs ago they did a neck reset on my '74 Dove), but it's no longer convenient. I was about to take it to Lark St. Music in Teaneck, but a friend of a friend mentioned Imperial which turned out to be a good recommendation.

If you go to Lark St put on your blinders and leave your wallet home
