Default Mister, You're The Best Friend I Got

The "desk" is what usually holds up the remote control of my 24 track. Guitar is a 1907 Stahl Style 6 made by the Larson Bros.

Man, Rick!

This is fantastic! What a great job of singing, playing, video and recording work!

I love that little guitar! You make it sound terrific! You have such a nice, relaxed picking style, as if it takes no effort at all!

And what a relaxed vocal delivery! You have a very pleasant voice, right on the notes!

Is this an original song of yours? I am thinking people aren't reacting to your video because they don't know the song!

But your song writing chops are right up there with your singing and playing skills! This is a very cool song! Very thought provoking!

Thanks for this Rick! This was super good! I just watched your video twice through.

- Glenn

Thanks! Yes it's my song. It's been submitted to the Tiny Desk Concert Series.

Well, good luck with that! I gotta think they'll appreciate this no matter what happens with their decision making process!

Great AWESOME-NESS going on there, Rick! The song sounds like a classic that's been with us forever. Truly!
Thanks for bringing this to AGF!

That’s really great. I didn’t know you had such great set of pipes.

Thanks. I learned music as a singer in various choirs & chorales when I was a kid.

I listened based on Glenn's reaction and I am glad I did.

A great song, very soulful vocals and beautifully understated picking - all recorded and produced to a very high standard.

Thanks, I enjoyed it very much this grey Thursday morning here in the south of the UK - good luck with the TD competition.

Very cool song. If your sig didn't say you are from Seattle I'd think you were a Texas songwriter!
