Glad I finally get to see both of your collections - stunning.

To Paul: how do you like your M? I'd like my next guitar purchase to fill the void of a 00 14 fret-sized guitar. Do you reckon the M is Froggy's closest body shape to that?

The C is a 12-fret 00. The M is closer to an OM.

I like all 3 a lot. The K was delivered April 2016. It arrived tight and Michael warned me it would take time to relax. It took about a year and it has become my all time favorite guitar. It has a big Cavernous tone with a body shape that’s very easy to play. The C was delivered October 2018 and it arrived fully mature the day it arrived. Big sound, deep & rich with a small frame that’s a dream to play. The M arrive 3 months ago and it is tight, just like the K. But it’s already developing a more mature tone and feel. Nice profile that easy to play, Good bass thump with an exceptionally well balanced tone. Great guitars one and all.

I should add that I owned an H-12 that was an exceptional instrument. It arrived with a fully mature tone. Overall I do find that the 12-fret models sound quite different from the 14-fret models. The 12-fret models seem deep, dark, rich boomy in a good way. The 14-fret models seem more projective, punchy and balanced.

I must say, I really love how streaky the Adi tops are on Froggys. It's such a cool look.

I'd love to try one some day. To hear you guys talk about them, it seems that or a Goodall might just be my holy grail.

Default A Thread for Froggy Photos

I have six but only have pics of these three but I will take a couple pics tomorrow of the other three. These three have the scrimshaw heel caps and the H-12 has a matching end cap as well.

K in Koa/Adi, H-12 and SJ are both Braz/Adi.

Here is my B-12 in Mahogany/Sitka flanked by my H-14 in Koa/German and H-12 in all Koa.

Very nice Hans. I’ve got to ask — are you a bicyclist? Looking at your calf muscles, I’m thinking deep knee squats or a bike

Here's my Froggy K from 2016. I recently had an H12 to go with it, which was an amazing combo, but alas the string spacing on thst one was too narrow so it had to go back. I'm loving the K model and nearly constantly scheming to get another Froggy in my collection.20200627_140149.jpg20200627_140334.jpg

I found this video of an Adi/EIR M that is an excellent representation of how my M (same woods) sounds — if I could play like that

Hi Paul, yes, I do bicycle for my exercise. It's flat land down her in New Orleans so I can't boast about much regarding long rides over hills and mountains. I have a friend and colleague in Netherlands who does all the famous Tour de France peaks for fun with his buddies. Can;t even imagine. Do you cycle too, Paul?
