Martin Backpacker Steel String!!!

Late Father's Day gift!!

I'm guessing everyone has seen them so no pics are necessary.....

I am actually impressed with the sound of it for it's size and **** happy to have it!

Congrats! I got one as a gift too a few years ago and added this:



It fits onto the Backpacker via a pair of elastic loops and makes it easy to balance the Backpacker on your knee when sitting down to play:



It's called a Compadre, and really makes a difference.

I borrowed a friend’s backpacker when I got sent to the UK for work years ago. I wish I’d had the compadre. The guitar did exactly what I needed it to do—I could practice daily, I had no worries at airports. But it was awkward for playing whilst seated.
