Default NGD!!!

Jackson Monarkh Pro SC. Got it off Reverb, they didn't have them in stock anywhere. Jackson guitars seem to fit me really well for some reason. I wanted a single cut, I considered an ESP EC-400 but I played a few and wasn't impressed. I also considered a nice Epiphone LP but I played a Monarkh in a music store by me and was very impressed. I also don't really like that Gibson wants you to spend $2K to get their name on the headstock(not trying to offend, just my opinion). Anyway NEW GUITAR DAY!!!

That's rather tasty looking.

Is it as skinny as it looks? Do you have a shot of the back, especially around the neck joint?

Congrats! I did some research on the Monarkh a few months back and it seems like a great guitar. Enjoy.

That 1.65" neck is kinda hard to get in a set-neck instrument - gotta find one of these for a test drive sometime soon...

Hope you've got a nice tube amp to go with it...

Use it well, often and LOUD...

The body is thinner than a Gibson. The neck has what's called a compound radius, meaning that the neck is rounder near the nut and flatter towards the bridge. I really like Jackson necks.

That’s very nicely done indeed - thanks for posting the extra picture!

Congrats! But don't get stabbed by that headstock!

HNGD! That top and binding are very tasty looking. Are those active EMG’s? I dig that 3+3 headstock. Jackson necks are love or hate thing. I personally think they’re way too skinny. But shredders generally love those necks.

They are Seymour Duncan Blackouts, they are active pickups. I love the headstock, but the tuners are way too close together, thats probably my only gripe about the guitar. I had a Jackson King V already so I already knew the neck would fit me.
