Default *pulled* Custom Emerald x30 (Koa!) *pulled*

I love this guitar.

Love.

But a new nerve condition in my left arm means that I need a much bulkier neck than this (amazing, thin, fast) neck can provide.

I am REORDERING this exact guitar from Emerald, with a custom neck.

Check out my review here:
https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=531801

and photos here:

Save yourself some $$$ and a long wait...AMAZING guitar.

(custom features: k&k pickup and the koa veneer. everything else is standard).

Wow - that's gorgeous! I just bought my third custom Emerald today. Quite sure my wife would actually kill me. Still...

Ha! Yeah, I spent a really long time picking out the top veneer... It's just as beautiful in person.

Every time I play this guitar people come up afterwards and want to talk about it... The sound, the beauty, everything.

Got to say, as an Emerald X30 owner, these instruments sound phenomenal and the koa on this one is drop-dead gorgeous. Good luck with sale.

Great looking guitar. Never seen or heard one live, but they sound good on YouTube.

Anyone know the width and depth of the neck "carve" at the first fret and at the 12th fret ?

Do all stock Emeralds have this thin, fast neck configuration ?

Thanks.

It's a standard x30 neck... Not sure about the carve out dimensions

Mark, fwiw, there are discussions in the CF subforum about the standard Emerald neck and comparisons to other guitars, and how adaptable the company is to shaping to a client’s wants.

Bongo, that X30 is a real looker. GLWTS!

I just played this guitar again all day....put it up on the wall in my bedroom (because: carbon fiber :-) ) I couldn't put it down. It's so resonate. I had been playing Martin Retros on it, and on a whim change to a set of Santa Cruz. For sure an improvement.

It didn't hurt as much as it has been. I'm thinking of taking this down if it doesn't sell soon, and seeing if I can get adjust my playing style.

Lots of great trade orders, but I spent all day yesterday playing it without much pain.

Keeping it for now!
