Smile [SOLD] Gibson J-45 True Vintage [SOLD]

I am selling a near mint condition 2007 Gibson J-45 True Vintage, all original. This 12 years old guitar sounds heavenly and is getting better and better, definitely the best sounding J-45 I have even gotten my hands on in my lifetime. Sadly selling due to my ongoing shoulder problem.

Never had any cracks or dings. Just some very minimal play wear such as pick rashes near the pick guard, which are not noticeable. Always kept in a humidified hard case with meticulous care. Comes with the original brown hard case with the pink plush, which is also in a mint condition.

The asking price is SOLD.
And the shipping is on me.

See below for the original Reverb posting for photos.
PM me with any questions or if you need any more photos.

Thanks!

Any interest in trading for a small body Martin?

Based on my experiences those first two years of J-45 TV production were some really sweet guitars. They used sitka for the tops instead of adirondack back then and for whatever reason that combo just worked better to my ear (and I like adi-topped guitars). I've managed to get my hands on a lot of J-45 TV's over the years and the '07 and '08 guitars were always the driest & woodiest sounding and were just more resonant overall than the later models that I played. It never really made sense to me. Maybe they were producing the TV models in smaller numbers back then and paying more individualized attention to each guitar.

If you're selling due to shoulder problems a smaller bodied guitar might actually make a lot sense for you as a Gibson "Jumbo" is a pretty good armful. Good luck however it all plays out (no pun intended).
