Default Our Loyal Listeners....

Hi All -

Do you have a loyal listener? If so, please share.

This is mine. Her name is Emory, and she is one of our two, delightful rescue pups. She is small part Lab, small part Rot, and large part GIANT heart.

And, she seems to tolerate my playing! Can't beat a moment like this.

This is Jane - our son's cat. She loves me. Sleeps on my chest whenever I nap on the couch. Even if I am playing my electric loudly she will come in and join me.

Beautiful guitar & fan Kori. I had a #1 fan who would come running as soon as he heard my first note. Unfortunately he passed in March. Here’s big Haas (120 pound Lab) below.

But now I have a new fan in training. He loves music, but still likes to chew my guitars, so he’s kept under watchful eyes.

While not a fully loyal listener, Jazz the Wonderdog can appear that way to visitors if they came in as I practice guitar after work each evening - usually when I wipe the strings to pack up, a little face appears around the door because she knows we normally go to the train station to pick up the Better Half......

Loves a bone nut!

Prefers the beach!

Sadly, no one in my house likes to hear me play, though my son is starting to show an interest.

Delightful shots, all.

No pics, but Buddy the Lawn Puma (13 year old tabby cat) usually comes to the music room within moments whenever he hears any playing -- guitar, ukulele, or flute. I'm never quite sure if he is truly a music fan or just figures, "Hey - if you have time to mess with THOSE, you have time to make a lap for ME". Our other cat Lucy loves to sleep with/on me, or just be in whatever room I occupy. Buddy sleeps with mama.

I grew up with dogs and love them, but I'm just too allergic these days.
