You might also consider some of the Bonzos' stuff.

I'll whip this one out (pun intended) on occasion and it's always a hit. Another one is a parody version of a Green Day song:

Mike Cross an Antsy McClain have a lot of short, amusing songs.

My personal favorites are Elma Turl

and I Married Up by Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours.

I have a couple of ideas already (one song's a bit suggestive, but not really rude), but I was wondering if any of you could suggest any others I could look into doing? Clever, silly, a bit naughty, it doesn't really matter provided they're songs likely to put a smile on the faces of punters who've had a few drinks. :-)

I'd appreciate any help or advice you could give.

Best regards to all, Dave
Dave,

Check out Jake Thackeray's songs. They are a goldmine of naughty (but nice) ditties. Richard Digence and Jasper Carrot are also very funny but Jake's the man to make the crowd titter.

I would strongly suggest you check out a guy named Paul Thorn on YouTube. Inventive, witty...I Guess I’ll Just Stay Married, Great Day To Whoop Somebody's ... and Viagra are favorites of mine.

I play
"Love potion # 9" every once in a while. People seem to have fun with it.
