The real answer is:

Evan's next post, which will probably be about a custom Emerald nylon, will be his 3000th post.

Best you sit down and sip some wine (or chug moonshine) first.... meant with love and compassion of course... explanations should start rolling in...

For someone who's been around here for 13 years, with over 13,000 posts, it's difficult to know what to suggest. There's a fine line between a tease and a slight.

RP;
Kramster just says he's my nephew. I asked mom and she said "no way." But he persists. I think he's hoping to inherit my Emerald nylon string guitars.

I'm just an old guy, still trucking, still looking forward to the next guitar, still singing but not doing much dancing. I am soft-spoken and rarely advance expressions of ego. I never tease anyone and try to stick to the straight and narrow. So, don't mind me.

And welcome.

Tom 2;
I can't believe 3000 posts. But yes, my next post (to RP) did include reference to Emerald nylon strung guitars. I'm so easy.

Evan, you should sign on to Facebook - Emerald Guitars made a post that said (paraphrasing): if you want a guitar by Christmas or the first of the year, you better order it now. Exciting news: only another 4 months or so for your guitar!

Adding 3000 to the total at the old MacNichol's forum would, I think, place you well past 10,000 posts . . .

I had a few over there as well I do believe... I think the most twice... once before Jessy Dillion and then again when he disappeared .

My comment was meant to be in jest, and I apologize to anyone who was offended by it. However, I didn't know who or which Evan the previous post applied...

This is a hard crowd.

Captain, my Captain. My order was in long ago and my new X10 thin-bodied, nylon string electric guitar may well show up in the September wonderments or the upcoming shipping videos.

Sipping the hard stuff and sitting on my porch, waiting................

Oh, no offense taken at all! I was just curious that someone with your longevity in the AGF didn’t recognize a reference to one of the most prolific posters in this sub-forum
