Anyone know the best way to adjust the truss rod on a Santa Cruz?
There is a big brace right in front so I can’t see anything. Also when I try to get an Alan wrench in there I can seem to get it to lock in. Almost seems like you have to remove the strings which would be dumb so I must be missing something

It’s hard to do with the strings on. You have to get under that brace and come in at a bit of an angle.

A ratchet socket wrench, a three inch drive extension and a 3/8 inch deep socket (for guitars made before April 2011) or a 5/16 inch socket (for guitars made after April 2011)

Thanks, but I am guessing that must remove the strings in practice. How are you supposed to get a socket in there with the strings at tension

I put the extension and socket in the hole first then attach the ratchet wrench only loosening the middle strings. It does go in at an angle.
