Gibson "Historic V" Neck Profile
The specs for the new LG2 include a "Historic V" profile. Does anyone know how this carve compares to others Gibson profiles. Most modern Gibsons I've picked up have felt super comfortable to me, much more than most Martins. I know part of the difference is the radius of the fretboard. Gibsons are usually 12, while Martins are 16. Still, I like the generally rounded profiles of Gibsons, so I'm not sure about this "Historic V" of the new LG2. I could never adapt to Martin's modified vee. Thanks for any knowledge you might be able to share.

Might be worth messaging SalFromChatham, as he just sold a 50s LG2 in the classifieds, and I know he's owned several modern Gibsons.

Curious. The vintage LGs never had a V neck profile.
