Default gig box ,not bag

hi , my computer has been down for a few days ,so i haven't looked here in a while, looking for a gig box ,not gig bag ,that i have been using. the bag is too clumsy . i'd like to find a box with laches[ i despise zippers!]. something i can organize so that when i pick the box up, everything doesn't go flying around inside the box....asking too much? well i understand if i hear nothing back ,but thanks!

You didn't mention what size you were looking for but some people here have mentioned using a tool box or a briefcase. If going with a brief case, why not get the Fender one? Musically themed.

Tackle box? (From Cabela's or whatever.)

But that's just a shot in the dark, it would help to know what the box needs to be carrying.

I believe it’s a box to keep gig essentials in, such as extra strings, batteries, cables, tools, etc.

I used to use one of these when I played in a band. I think I payed half of what they go for in the link. They make a handy amp stand too. These days I don't need that much storage space so I don't use it for gigs anymore.

Yes - they test the zipper, don't like the result so they then detest the zipper

Have you considered one of these? Under £50 in UK and you can arrange the foam blocks to keep everything in its' place and nice and safe.

With a space for everything, but it doesn't go flying around would require a custom-fitted interior for your particular things. You can get foam inserts that you can cut to size, and there are gear boxes of every size available. Not particularly cheap, though.
I just bought a Gator case for my mixer which has a pocket that holds my Radio PZ-Pre, too. And I have a larger laptop case (the kind with little wheels and a pull-out handle) that I use for all cables - one pocket for guitar cables, one for XLRs, one for power cords and one for powerstrips and extension cords.

I use one of these when I don't have to bring the entire PA ...

https://www.dewalt.com/products/gear...eels/dwst28100

And bring one of these when I do ...

When loading in and out, I wanna rock ... and ROLL.

There are many different sizes of rolling tool boxes with collapsible handles like an airplane carry-on. Find one the same size footprint of your amp/monitor. That way you can strap the whole thing together and only make one trip in/out of a gig.

Perhaps something like this: https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-s...ase-62271.html

I use these for various collections of tools and parts. My radio-controlled accessories, tools, batteries, spare parts, and transmitters live in two of these. Another is dedicated to a small battery powered mixer and some spare cables.

I don't know that you'll find anything like that in a guitar store, but Harbor Freight Tools has a couple boxes that might fit your needs. They have these...

And then they have these waterproof copies of Pelican cases. These often go on sale from time to time with good discounts. https://www.harborfreight.com/4800-w...rge-64250.html
