I had an RWS Diana. Next level air riffle. Worth every penny. Should never have parted with it. I don’t believe there is an American made equivalent.

Heard on the local news just last week that Des Moines or a suburb (can't remember which) is outlawing air guns because they look so real to police. I got in on the tail end of the news blurb. So I didn't catch the whole story.

Oh yeah, the state of NY where I live is already drafting legislation concerning airguns. Of course NY is a state where it’s illegal to own a wrist rocket slingshot if it has a wrist brace on it. I kid you not.

I recently looked at the Crossman AR-type airgun....Could not be told from the real thing at more than a few feet.

Sure enjoyed them as a kid. Assume it’s a whole different ball game now!

There are air rifles now that will penetrate cement blocks. These however are very high end, expensive airguns that most folks would never spring for. Air rifles are like any other product line, you can buy the equivalent of a $50 First Act acoustic in airguns, or if you’ve a mind to, you can buy the equivalent of say a Martin OM -28 for 3K in airguns. Whatever rocks your boat at whatever price you want to pay. Is this a great country or what! 👍 btw, LOTS of airgun stuff on You Tube, including 50.Cal air rifles penetrating cement blocks. Pretty awesome performance for a non center fire traditional rifle.
