The Proper Way covers Guy Clark's "Dublin Blues"
We played a gig in the tiny town of Helper, UT tonight (mostly because we absolutely adore this weird little town). We stuck around after teardown and filmed/recorded this.
Audio is from the iPhone on the rock in the middle of us. |

Hi , Guy is my "main man" when it comes to songwriting.
You dis a great tribute to it. Beautiful harmonies, and kudos to the mandolin player.

Thanks! You can see me realize something is out of tune on that mando pretty early. Then I spend half the song trying to figure out how to avoid that string! |

I couldn’t believe how well the iPhone worked. Normally we use a little Apogee ONE interface, but it was all back at our hotel. Two iPhones—one for audio and one for video—may be the ticket! |

One of my favorites from Guy Clark. Cool video, too! Thanks.
