She sounds like a keeper. My wife couldn't care less about my guitars and constantly tells me to play softer.
(A tiny suggestion is to relocate the guitars off the external wall , esp. if that's a west-facing wall). |

The two things you see hanging there are not playable. The uke is something that I got from Musician's Friend for free. I got ripped off. It is not even remotely playable. The one on the right is a decoration from Hobby Lobby. The cases are lined up on an interior wall, and the one against the exterior wall is empty.

My home is on the small side but I have a decent sized master bedroom. My guitars are, for the most part, in cases in a StringSwing rack when not being played. This rack is in my master bedroom. I have guitar stands in both my living room and small office/spare bedroom. I play mostly in the living room. It works and it’s pretty easy to bring out the guitars when friends come over.
I have a guitar playing friend whose house is easily four times larger. His wife is a painter. She has a studio in the basement and he has a spare bedroom for his guitars and music stuff. Their living room is devoid of anything musical except for a lovely grand piano in one corner. If I had a larger home, I’d have guitar all over the place! Best, Jayne |
