If you can find one to try, the new Bourgeois Touchstone is worth a look. I am waiting for the mahogany series to be available.

I'd start by looking at a Santa Cruz OM (non PW) or Collings (not Traditional). Stay away from Martins or anything trying to chase the Martin tone since they might be too boomy. Also- I just played a Touchstone and literally hated it. But maybe I got a bad one.
