Thanks very much for all your help here. The blue stamp (see attached JPEG) is none too clear, but with a bit of detective work I can see that it's F-70-HS, with MADE IN US underneath. (At first I couldn't decipher the HS.) So my Harmony Sovereign was in the First batch built in 1970. That seems about right: I bought it second-hand in about 1973/4.

No, H165 is correct, or at least echoing what I would have advised had he not beat me to it.

Strangely, I have two Harmonys (H1270) 12 string and H1325 Monterey archtop.
and whist I can find the model and serial numbers I cannot find the date stamp in either.
