Default 12 string archtop

Just curious, can anyone recommend a luthier who makes or has made a 12 string archtop besides Sobell or Smocke?

John Monteleone has made a few, and I've played this one many times, especially when it was new.

Whether John will take any new orders for a 12 string now is something you'd have to ask him.

ah my! The task of setting the intonation with a floating bridge on a 12 string alone is feeling like an aneurism.

Allan Beardsell makes a 12 string archtop.

It's actually far easier to intonate an archtop saddle, in situ, and there's no reason to move anything, aside from lifting the string out of the slot to file some more.

The strings don't even have to be detuned.

You’re welcome!

I currently have a six string on the bench, which is turning out great. Allan’s instruments get rave reviews from my luthier friends in the know.
