I did not test the Left output the same way so I can't confirm that the left 1/4 inch output is TRS, though, in thinking about it, I suspect that it is as well.

Output 2 is a 1/8 inch single stereo jack. I didn't test it at all. I assume that any 1/8 stereo plug output would carry left and right signals. I could possibly see this jack used if one wanted to use a 1/8 input jack on a mixer or for headphones with a 1/8 jack.

The quality of this mixer makes me consider their other products. Perhaps, that's part of their plan. Regardless, it packs a bunch of features into a small unit.
The product description on the EAE website does say that both 1/4" outputs are TRS.

The paperwork that comes with the s1 is dire. Check out post #4 on this thread:

I'm going to assume your splitter is:

XLR¹, pin 1 - ground
XLR¹, pin 2 - tip
XLR¹, pin 3 - n/c
XLR², pin 1 - ground
XLR², pin 2 - ring
XLR², pin 3 - n/c

If this is the case then what you have is the same signal (L) going to both XLRs but in opposite polarity. If you connect them to two (flat) XLR channels on a mixer and put them both to centre you will [edit - "may", I've just thought of a way this wouldn't happen, but the principle stands] get silence.

This is only the L channel duplicated. For stereo you need both L & R.

Ok, this has bugged me so I had a look at the idiot's guide (that's me).

The guide seems to suggest outputs #1 (2 x 1/4"TRS) and #2 (1 x 1/8" TRS) can (independently?) be set to one of three modes:

#1 (all balanced)
- L = main L, R = main R
- L = aux L, R = aux R
- L = main (mono), R = aux (mono)

#2 (all unbalanced)
- tip = main L, ring = main R
- tip = aux L, ring = aux R
- tip = main (L+R), ring = aux (L+R)

The manual text is really unclear, as probably is my own explanation.

Good to know. Had I known, it would imply that I read the specs or instructions, which I obviously didn't.

The Gigmix arrived about an hour ago. Unfortunately I don't have time to diddle with it enough to use it at tonight's gig, but it'll be in my lineup next week. I'm impressed so far with the small amount of testing I got to do with it. I'll report back in a week or two after I have a few gigs with it.
