For what it’s worth
I used to own one of the original run of nine that Ted at LA Guitars commissioned (full gloss, tortoise binding, slot head stock). This may be a terrific guitar that you’d treasure. The one I owned is probably the one, for me, that got away.
I hope that helps a bit.

I had one up until I sold it in a downsizing over the holidays in 2020. I think it was an '06. They are great guitars... big, open, warm tone. I polished mine to a semi-gloss with car polish. I also switched out the tuners, pins, and installed a bone nut and saddle. The latter two made a difference tonally, adding more articulation and crispness.
I wouldn't hesitate to get another.

Even though I'm convinced that this is a great guitar, I'm going to pass on this one. I played my 0000-18 12 fret yesterday and I'm still in love with that one. Even though I have 12 fret fever, i just don't want another guitar right now.
I've gotten all the info from the seller and it's a great guitar and the price seems, to me, to be very fair. The seller says that he's willing to ship. I'm not ready for a new guitar right now, but if one of you want to take a look, here's the ad; https://worcester.craigslist.org/msg...487119601.html |
