Forgot to add that in cases where the house doesn't have a good PA, I'll run the PMB into my trace elliot amp.

The RAven Labs PMB (I or II) has always been my favorite bang for the buck acoustic guitar preamp. Very musical sounding with decent features. Too bad Steve Rabe stopped production. I've noticed used PMB's have gone up in price on eBay over the past several months.

Default Live Rig!

'00 310ce with Fishman onboard prefix blender and fishman rare earth single coil run into two separate 1/4" outs. The blender goes through a borrowed Boss DD-3 and into the instrument channel of Boss RC-20XL. The Rare earth goes into a TU-2 tuner into the mic channel of the RC-20XL. I have a Boss FS-6 dual footswitch that i use for reverse effect of the loop station. Single output from the Loop Station to my 250w Fishman Loudbox. Soon to be added is probably a boss reverb pedal and a chorus. The Big Baby taylor was setup with the electronics in my 310ce ('ol switcheroo!), and it will soon have a Fishman stereo blender and a rare earth single.

I play a Taylor 614ce, which I plug into a small Mackie mixer, and the mixer plugs directly into my amp (a Carvin AG 1000). The mixer goes on a small table near me, so anything I want to adjust can be done at the mixer. If I want use an effect (like an outboard reverb), that goes through the mixer as well.

Default Setup

Ok - here goes:
Taylor 414ce (Fishman blender) > TRS cable split to two 1/4" outs: 1) undersaddle pickup > Yamaha Magicstomp > DI split to house and to Crate Taos amp (stage monitor), 2) internal mic > DI > house. Soundman determines mix between 'wet' and 'dry' channels depending on room and song (I kinda trust him most days!).

Ovation > Yamaha Magicstomp > EB Volume Pedal > Boss EH-2 > DI split to house and to Crate Taos amp (stage monitor).

Les Paul > EB Volume Pedal > Dean Markley DR-80 tube amp (foot channel switch - dirty vs. clean) > Shure SM-57 to house.

The Magicstomp is used purely for effects with the Taylor and as an Acoustic Mic Simulator (AG-Stomp patches) with the Ovation.

Acoustic:

Taylor Koa Custom Jumbo w/ Baggs Dual Source > A/B Pedal (in case I break a string and have to switch to my backup guitar quickly) > Korg DT-10 Pedal Tuner > Line 6 DL-4 Delay Modeler (for delay and looping) > Trace Elliot TA100R Acoustic Amp > Balanced XLR out to PA

Electric:

PRS CE24 > Pod 2.0 w/ Floorboard > PA

Does the Aura have a factory preset for your guitar? How does it sound? I'm considering getting one... it's between that, a Boss AD-3 (or AD-5), and a yamaha magicstomp acoustic...

2002 Taylor 614ce into this:

From there, it goes into a Whirlwind DI and then to the church PA.

I'm in the process of getting started on making a custom phaser which will fit perfectly between the Tone-Press and the PPW 2LTM. I'll bump the PPW A/B down a little bit, nudge the Tone-Press to the right an inch or two and I'll be perfectly set.

Church Setup (once the new system is totally done):

Taylor 815ce (Ovangkol instead of EI Rosewood) ES balanced to snake balanced to Yamaha DM 2000 balanced to Crown amps, balanced to house speakers (Sound Physics Labs mains x 10, Sound Physics Labs downfills x 5, Bag End Subs x 7). Yamaha board has the Aviom card which will send my mix to Sensaphonics IEMs via Sennheiser G2 300 Series wireless. Compression and/or limiter only for effects, if at all (via the DM 2000). The vocalists will be using Renkus-Heinz (sp?) wedges for monitors.
