Default Cordoba Maple 14 vs Fusion 5

Can anyone advise the difference between the Maple 14 and Fusion 5 (other than frets to the body)?

Is it primarily a difference in materials? Is one laminate and the other solid? Is there a difference in the neck shape /style?

Thanks
Joe

I was wondering the same thing when considering the Fushion 5. I was looking at the Fushion Natural 12 and Fushion 5. The fushion 5, Natural 12 and Fushion maple all have solid tops but not back and sides.
I believe the specs and materials on the Natural 12 are simply better than the 5. The Natural 12 and Maple are more similar other than back and side material.
I have purchased the Fushion 5 as my first nylon string. I have not picked up a steel string since getting it. I am now considering a Maple 12.
The Cordoba website has detailed spec lists for all models.

Thanks Jacob.

How is the action on the Fusion 5? I own an older Giannini classical guitar and find the action quite high. I know that the larger size of nylon strings require a higher action to prevent buzzing, but I'm hoping that hybrid-type guitars have lower action.

I'm assuming that action can be somewhat adjusted just as it can with steel strings instruments........

Hi Joe
I adjusted the action by sanding the saddle a bit. It is higher than my steel string but still very easy to fret even at the 12th fret and no buzzing.
