Feels like the Factory is closing!
I've been kind of upset about Taylor's decision and have even gotten a bit mad, but I realize business is just that. I have really enjoyed hanging here and have visited more than I ever thought I would. Reading some of the threads makes you kind of feel like the factory we work at just closed its doors. Folks saying goodbye, maybe a few sniffles here and there and a general feeling of sorrow. Because of the fine people, the forum will thrive. I have a great interest in this whole thing because I just started the "Unofficial Tacoma Guitar Forum" 3 months a go and I certainly don't wish this upon us. We may never be 6,000 strong, but we better watch ourselves and if need be, my mods will have to strong-arm it at times.
I wish JR all the best and great success. I'll be ready to bookmark the new URL Steve

I agree - and that brings up a good question, how will we find the new URL? A Techie, I am not. Joser 814ce, Tobacco |

joser..........a techie I am, and that's a good question. Many people (myself included) found this site via a search engine. Take "Taylor" out of the URL, and it's a whole different ballgame..............or was this the point of the forced name change from the beginning? No sense helping people find a site where they might actually read some negative press along with the positive. Let's all be good little Taylorites and never speak badly about the powers that be.
Oh, that's partially why my last Taylor is for sale also. Guess I'm tired of the bow toward El Cajon cult mentality. I mean, read their ads lately. That new Taylor guitar is supposed to be more important than family, vacations, work, and should even make you stop drinking if you want it to. Sheesh...........
