Tim, Mary, that's some creative work coming out of your shop.
Most inspiring!

Smile Looking VERY tasty!

My goodness these ALL look beautiful indeed.

As for the slim slope dread (SSD) I am sure They are wonderful axes!

I can not get over how comfy my recent JK build is. The Manzer Wedge and the double bevels make it feel like a MUCH smaller guitar. It is BIG but feels SMALL.

SOUNDS HUGE.

Thanks again for your help on the JK customs! The CF struts seem to make a serious difference in tonal upgrades...

May your herds continue to increase!!!

Paul

One thing I cannot do is design a leftie McGit while standing on my head, but maybe if it is time to build another leftie I'd give it a try.

We have only had one call for a leftie. Now when we see it played on TV, we notice the players stance. Along with a giggle, the comment we usually make is "Oh, yes. J.J. has a leftie!" Tim and I almost have to stand on our heads to keep our thinking in the left handed gear.

I should contact Kroger and see if I can get a weeks worth of groceries for the ad we gave them. I wonder how many others decided to get french onion dip for chips or a baked potato?

The Choker really attracts my eye. I know I have a quirky design eye, but I tend to look at it often and ... I smile. Can you tell that was my favorite necklace in my younger years? So much so that I design a guitar I'll never play around it. While it is that guitar that attracts my eye I can't help but to bee bop around when we are working with the other guitar and sing This is the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius. I'm not into horoscopes. Didn't even give it a thought that a garnet is the Aquarius birthstone. Red/ Pernambuco was the color tone I chose. Even though I find it to be an attractive rosette Tim thought I was goofy when I pulled out a piece of olive wood for the peg head. To him it isn't book matched so it awkward to use, but he is trusting me. To me it indicates orbital space. It is my favorite piece of that guitar.

Looking mighty fine. Just like anything wearing a choker should.

Thanks Dennis. Wait until you see how Mary & Adrianne are “accessorizing” the Choker. It should provide some smiles

Well the finish has been curing for two weeks so tomorrow is sanding and buffing day. This is not one of my favorite tasks in building. We strive for a very thin final finish which is usually in the .0015" - .003" thickness range. I've found that thickness is ideal for the voice of the instrument but less than ideal for me because the danger of sand or buff through is a VERY real possibility. So many things can go unexpectedly wrong and a set back is always looming in the back of my mind so wish me luck.

Good luck, Tim, though somehow I think you'll be just fine! Love the blue stone on this, very cool look. It'll be really nice to see in person!

Tim, tell us you did NOT sand through, and that all came out well...?

I'm in trouble.

I tend to clean and I have done this to customers more than once, too. I deleted a few pictures but I'll see what I can find so Tim can put this back up.
