And I also used "drumming" to communicate,  that is to say I went into the shop which is to the right in photo ( the garbage bag of insulation is next to the shop wall) and "drummed" on the shop wall directly to her right and Ill be darned if she did not saunter on out. It's pretty well-known that you can calm down a house cat by relaxing and looking him or her with drowsy eyes and blinking slowly. Cats blink slowly at each other to communicate that they are relaxed and happy. Like a yawn, it is catching. I have done this with my cats for years.
I didn't know you could do the same with the big cats but it makes sense. There's not a whole lot of difference between the big and little cats except size and power. Just don't get poofy to me about it. The drum is a wonderful, humorous irony. Bob
