That was so cool! What a great way to keep a bond with your son. You are a smart and lucky man.

Oh, and by the way, loved the music!

Your SonnyBoy looks like a natural! He plays with no effort. That’s a great sign. How cool that you two share playing together. Those were the best times of my life, getting to play guitar with my SonnyBoy! I’m no dead fan, but given the opportunity to see a parent share these moments with their kids is priceless to me. Play on!

Being able to play with my son was the reason I picked up the guitar. He’s head and shoulders better than me but we make music and bond over it which is great. He’s taught me a lot.

When my kids ask to do something with me-- especially play music, I always say yes. The window is slowly but continuously closing as each day passes and they march their way out the door.

Excellent... I commented on your other thread as well... and what’s old is new again... I play in a few bars in Brooklyn, and you would be shocked how many of “the young” know the tunes and the words to our old man music.

That was awesome. I forgot about that song I love it. I have a question for you, what did your son start his learning journey on?
