Congrats! From the photos on that eBay ad, it looks pristine. Won't be long and your nerves about liking it will go away. The X7 is a sweet guitar! Nice snag on your part. Of course, we'll be looking forward to photos and your impressions when it arrives.

Congrats!

It was already out of mine, or we would've been "fighting" over it....

Congrats!
I got a previous series X7 from a forum member just over a week ago.
I am simply shocked how good it is..... Haven't played anything else since it arrived.

A used Blackbird or McPherson would do nicely.

Nice trigger-pull on that X7, congratulations!

I’ve always admired the amber version. Just looks so right.

I think a second hand Emerald X20 is your best bet

I was hunting for an X20 but those are out of my budget so I went with an X7 instead.

If I had $1500 just hanging around, I might throw a big party--hot dogs, some beer and chips. Maybe some popcorn. Invite all my friends. Display my CF collection, get a little wasted, and be happy.

I'd scrape up another $120 and buy a new X7. There's already plenty of beer in the fridge.

That's because you already have a CF guitar (or 3). $1500 can get one "in the CF game"!

I don't drink beer - I'd put that cash with the small stash I have and buy another guitar. See what you people have done to me??!!

Okay. I'll up the ante. If I had $1,500 just laying around, doing nothing, I'd have my forum friends over for fillet and Irish whiskey. We'd watch the sun set over the Red Rock Canyon, and play lots of music.

I dunno - in my family, Jamison’s is usually trotted out for funerals! Make that bourbon, and I’m there!
