Default NGD! Gibson Les Paul Special 2020 TV Yellow

My wife surprised me and gave me a 30th birthday present in advance!
This is a Gibson Les Paul Special from 2020 and it is the best guitar I’ve ever played!
Instead of posting pictures, I made this jam to show off the guitar!

Truth be told, this is my first Gibson and my first Les Paul!
I’ve been playing a Fender Stratocaster for the past 10 years. This Les Paul is a whole other world and I love it!
The chunky neck is so incredibly comfortable and it looks so good!
The p90s sound fantastic and I’m over the moon with this guitar!
Where has it been all my life?

I love P-90's for rock - use it well, often, and LOUD...

It takes a real man to shoot videos in his daughter's bedroom. Bravo.

You play that guitar as if you were born with it in your hands! You and that Lester certainly get along. You rock, good and proper.

Fantastic! Great techniques you use in the solo. Lots of feeling and passion.

It won't be your last Les Paul.

Very, very nice! It sounds like you have an awesome wife! Wonderful playing there!

I purchased the new Epi version of that, and although I realize they are not nearly the same quality, I love the tones I'm pulling from it so far. Congrats again on an awesome guitar, wonderful wife, and great playing!

Had the same basic thing (2012) and it was a great guitar. I was dumb for trading it off, but of course that's the only dumb decision I've ever made...

That's a beauty. Did you find going to the short scale much of an adjustment?
