Do you use pedals with your acoustic guitar?
I recently acquired a tuner pedal, loop pedal, and a vocal harmonizer and have them mounted to a small pedal board. What pedals, if any, do the members on this forum use? How do you use them? Likes/dislikes?

Never really went in the jungle of pedal effects...
My keyboard amp Behringer 1800FX includes basic effets I could use, but can not combine : I made some trials just for fun and was not convinced...

My acoustic board...
1) DOD Equalizer
2) Boss Digital Delay DD-6 3) Boss Compressor/Sustainer 4) Ibanez Turbo Tube Screamer The first two are almost always in use, while the others are just for fun.

I use a compressor and a chorus pedal through a 5-watt tube amp. Not very often and usually not together.

A bit of delay and or reverb is what I use when I want to still sound acoustic. If I want to have fun with sound, it's something with overdrive !

Fishman Aura Spectrum D1. If I'm doing a sideman thing with another guitar player, I'll add a delay for color.
I can't use a looper to save my life. |

Can't say that I actively use any pedals.
But I did purchase a Digitech Solo Xt and RP55. I'd be more inclined to hook up a looper, as far as any other effects, you can pretty much get much out of the acoustic guitar. If i would run a looper through the system, it would be in a clean manner |

I play acoustic guitar. No pedals, no amplifier.

LR Baggs PADI, GFS tuner, Electro-Harmonix Canyon Delay, TC Electronics Arena Reverb, Mooer Baby Water Chorus, TC Electronics Ditto looper. That's my acoustic-electric pedal board.
The Baggs acts as an eq/tone shaper/piezo quack eliminator. Tuner -- I tune because I care. For worship music, I use the shimmer on the Canyon quite a bit. The Mooer gives me a nice chorus, but can double as an echo if I'm using the Canyon for something other than delay. The Arena is similar to the Hall of Fame and is always on. And the looper, well, you know...I use it to sound check my levels when no sound techs are around.

This is the way I run things most (all) the time, but I think a Looper may be able to expand your knowledge and improve your technique.
If you don't have the opportunity to Jam with other people. |

When doing a plugged in gig I will almost always have a Fishman Platinum Pro EQ/DI. Most of the time I will have a TC Electronic Hall of Fame2 reverb. While I don't use it that often, I'll often have a Digitech Multichorus either before or after the reverb. I should also mention that before the Fishman EQ/DI I will usually have a Korg CA-40 or CA-50 tuner as they are the most accurate. Before getting the Fishman DI I would plug into a Korg Pitchblack tuner with the reverb and multichorus behind it.
