I'm reading the books now after really digging the series.
I was up 'The Narrows', and discovered it was sequel of sorts to 'The Poet', so I read that book before starting 'The Narrows'. Good stuff. D

I'm reading 9 Dragons right now which is another really good Bosche book. Before that was Blood Work, which isn't a Bosche, but really great read. All of Connelly's book keep you involved.

I have read most of the Bosch books. I appreciate the Bosch series on Amazon quite a lot.
I find it interesting how they mix up parts of more than one book into each series. I imagine this is a great gig for Michael Connelly! - Glenn

I'll say!
Funny, but when I discovered the series on Amazon Bosche was not how I pictured him from the book series. Now, as I am still reading the books I picture the guy from the Amazon series as I read. Weird. scott |

Thanks for the tip, we're just starting season two.
We don't watch that much TV and it's rare that we both enjoy a series enough to watch. I think this is my first "cop show" since Adam 12

I like the Bosch series quite a bit but felt a bit of a slip, mostly in writing and pacing, in season 6. Still fun to watch.
My favorite cop show is "Line of Duty" from our friends across the pond. It's about internal corruption investigators. Really good writing! |
