Hello all, this is my first post. I just got a Firefly (cedar top and rosewood sides and back). I have played a Martin J65 for many years, but in the last few it's gotten harder to manage the size. I have Sunrise pickups in two of my guitars. But I don't think it's going to be a good fit in the firefly. I don't gig that often but when I do I need a fairly idiot proof connection. The Sunrise and a DI serve very well. So I'm looking for ideas.

you may consider the LR Baggs "Lyric". Have one, love it.

What guitar are you playing with the Lyric? I listened to Rick Skags playing a PRS acoustic with the Lyric and it sounds amazing!

not real familiar with Sunrise P/U's? I use either K&K passive mini SBT or a McIntyre Feather passive SBT. Both have worked flawlessly for me with or without a preamp? But I have no experience with a Firefly?
